Help decide the theme for Youth Week WA 2026!
Yesterday, the Minister for Youth announced that young people aged 10-25 can apply for a competition to decide the theme for Youth Week 2026.
The winning theme will be featured across all events and promotions during Youth Week WA 2026 in April next year. If eligible, the winner will also receive an Apple iPad.
The Cook Labor Government is committed to celebrating and recognising the contributions that young people make to the social, cultural and economic life in Western Australia.
That’s why Youth Week WA is held every year to celebrate these contributions and provide opportunities for young people to connect across the State.
This year, the Department of Communities is inviting young people aged 10-25 across Western Australia to help shape Youth Week WA 2026 by:
- Submitting a theme that reflects what’s important to them and their peers. The winning theme will become the official Youth Week WA 2026 theme and be featured across all events and promotions.
- Voting on the design direction for Youth Week WA’s promotional materials by choosing from three creative branding concepts.
In addition to being recognised as a key contributor for Youth Week WA 2026, if eligible, the theme competition winner will also receive an Apple iPad, as well as the opportunity to feature on Department of Communities social media, further promoting the theme to the wider community.
To find out more and to enter, please view and complete the online Entry Form. Entries are open now and will close on Sunday 28 September 2025.
