We’re going to rebuild the Lake Gwelup Bridge!

Thank you, Gwelup community, for advocating to rebuild the Lake Gwelup Pedestrian Bridge, including submitting a 660-strong petition to the City of Stirling.

I’ve engaged with many community members and stakeholders, including the highly regarded Friends of Lake Gwelup who manage the conservation of the lake.

It is clear that the Porter Street Bridge is more than a pedestrian crossing – it’s a cherished part of our shared history, connecting Gwelup and Karrinyup.

A re-elected Cook Labor Government will invest $1.5 Million to rebuild this vital link.
